TOP PROSPECTS
The A’s have nine of their Top 10 prospects in their player pool, with OF Austin Beck the only exception. Other notable names in the pool include C Austin Allen, OF Skye Bolt, RHP James Kaprielian, RHP Tyler Baum, OF Greg Deichmann and RHP Grant Holmes.
ADDITIONS AND SUBTRACTIONS
The A’s traded SS Jorge Mateo from their initial player pool and added SS Robert Puason, a notable move because Puason is only 17. They also added first-round pick Tyler Soderstrom after signing him and fellow teenaged prospect Brayan Buelvas. Veteran minor league RHP Ben Bracewell was added at the end of July.
