Justin Turner Signs With Easton, Will Use Gloves, Bats
Los Angeles Dodgers third baseman Justin Turner has signed with Easton to use the brand’s gloves and bats once the 2020 Major League Baseball season starts.
Turner, a 2017 All-Star and NLCS Co-MVP, kicks off Easton’s Don’t Hold Back campaign that celebrates Easton’s roster of players as the MLB All-Star Game heads to Los Angeles for 2020.
“It’s really special to partner with a company like Easton and to have the support of a team like theirs that’s based right in my backyard in Southern California,” Turner said in a statement. “Everywhere you go now, you see Easton. I’m in love with their products. They’ve come a long way with their ball gloves, and I’m looking forward to swinging Easton’s bat this year.”
Along with providing equipment to Turner, Easton will support his foundation to help homeless veterans and kids battling life-altering illnesses and diseases.
On the field, Turner will use an Easton Pro Collection glove, redesigned for 2020.
“We are very honored to partner with Justin,” said Dan Jelinek, Easton's president. “He is not only an iconic player in Los Angeles and throughout Major League Baseball, but also a class act on as well as off the field and someone we are proud to have represent our products and brand.”
Easton, which has continued to sign players in both baseball and softball, is based in Southern California and now has a 2020 roster that includes Turner, Alex Bregman, Jose Ramirez, Ketel Marte, Kevin Pillar, Austin Hedges, Delino DeShields, Ryon Healy, Adalberto Mondesi, Ramon Laureano, Edwin Diaz and Francisco Cervelli.
