Florida remains atop Baseball America’s Top 25, powered by Louisville Slugger, after it won its 18th straight regular-season series, a streak that dates to last year.

The Gators won their series against Texas A&M to strengthen their hold on first place in the Southeastern Conference. Florida has now been ranked No. 1 for 10 weeks this season.

Stanford again is ranked No. 2, followed by North Carolina at No. 3, its highest ranking of the season. Oregon State and Mississippi round out the top five.

Georgia and Minnesota made significant jumps this week into the top 15. The Bulldogs, who trail only the Gators in the SEC race, move up to No. 12, their highest ranking since 2008. The Gophers this weekend moved into a tie for first in the Big Ten Conference and rose to No. 15, their highest ranking since 1982.

Three teams this week enter the Top 25. Stetson joins the ranking at No. 22. It is the Hatters’ first appearance in the Top 25 in seven years. Auburn and Connecticut both return to the Top 25 after dropping out earlier this season. The Tigers return at No. 18 and the Huskies at No. 25.

Dropping out of the Top 25 are Vanderbilt, Indiana and Houston. All three lost weekend series.

The SEC leads all conferences with six teams in the Top 25. The ACC follows with five representatives.

The staff of Baseball America determines the Top 25 rankings. Records indicated are through May 6.
