Florida remains atop Baseball America’s Top 25, powered by Louisville Slugger, after it won its 17th straight regular-season series, a streak that dates to last year.

The Gators won their series against Auburn to strengthen their hold on first place in the SEC. Florida has now been ranked No. 1 for nine weeks this season.

Stanford climbs to No. 2, matching its highest ranking of the season. Mississippi, Arkansas and North Carolina round out the top five. The Tar Heels for the second week in a row made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving up five spots after sweeping rival North Carolina State on the road to take over first place in the Atlantic Coast Conference.

Two teams this week enter the Top 25 and are both making their first appearance of the season in the rankings. Oklahoma State enters at No. 19 after sweeping the Bedlam Series against rival Oklahoma and solidifying its hold on first place in the Big 12 Conference. Houston joins at No. 21 after a road sweep at East Carolina and increasing its lead in the American Athletic Conference.

Dropping out of the Top 25 are Oklahoma and Jacksonville.

The Southeastern Conference leads all conferences with six teams in the Top 25. The ACC follows with five representatives.

The staff of Baseball America determines the Top 25 rankings. Records indicated are through April 29 and do not include ties.
