2018 Boston Red Sox Instructional League Roster
The Red Sox released their 2018 Instructional League roster Wednesday. The full team is below.
On the pitching front, 2017 first rounder Tanner Houck is included on the roster. So is Durbin Feltman, a reliever out of TCU taken in this June’s draft who could move through Boston’s system relatively quickly.
Shortstop prospect C.J. Chatham ended the season on a tear and is listed on the roster. 2018 first rounder Triston Casas, who underwent UCL surgery on his thumb in late June, is also listed.
Trey Ball, Boston’s 2013 first rounder, is listed as an outfielder. He has primarily pitched over six professional seasons but did appear in a pair of games for Portland this season as an outfielder.
