Bremer began the year as Washington's ace, but without Troy Rallings at the back of the bullpen, the Huskies shifted Bremer there, although he was still apt to pitch as many innings as a starter. A reliever would start, go two innings or so, and Bremer would come in and finish the contest. He's a gamer who has filled out his athletic 6-foot-5, 200 pound frame, though he could add more strength. He throws strikes with his 88-91 mph fastball, touching 92, but his fastball command is shy for his level of velocity. He has a solid-average curveball and knows how to pitch up and down in the strike zone with his heater and curve. His changeup is a third pitch he'll have to develop more as a pro. He finished with two poor starts but still should go in the first 10-12 rounds.
