Where The Former Braves Prospects Are Signing

The 12 former Braves prospects whose contracts Major League Baseball voided are eligible to sign with any of the other 29 organizations beginning today. Teams can sign the players using either their bonus pools from the current 2017-18 signing period or the upcoming 2018-19 signing period, which opens on July 2. Only the amount above $200,000 will count against a team’s bonus pool.

The players all keep their original signing bonuses they received from the Braves. They can receive a second signing bonus if they sign by Jan. 15. After Jan. 15, they can sign with another organization but can’t receive a second bonus. If a player wants to re-sign with the Braves, he must wait until May 1 to re-sign and will not be able to receive another signing bonus. The players are listed below with both their new team and signing bonus in addition to the bonus they originally received from the Braves.
