SEE IT: Swings For Some Of The Top Players At The College World Series

The College World Series, as it does most years, brings some of the best hitters in college baseball to Omaha. Not coincidentally, that also means that it brings some of the top picks in the 2018 draft class (and some of the best for 2019 and 2020 as well).

Friday was workout day for the College World Series. So it was a good chance to watch the swings of some of amateur baseball’s best.

Here’s Oregon State second baseman Nick Madrigal, who was the White Sox first-round pick.

And here is Oregon State catcher Adley Rutschman, who is expected to be one of the top players in the 2019 draft class.

And here is Oregon State outfielder Trevor Larnach. The Twins were impressed enough by his power to pick him in the first round.

Texas Tech third baseman Josh Jung is another of the top prospects for 2019.

And Florida third baseman Jonathan India hit all season for average and power, which impressed the Reds enough that they picked him in the first round.
