John, our editor in chief, designed this bat for his son, an 11-year-old who plays at the youth level. John’s Birch C271L features a silver barrel with a blue handle, and blue and white grip, a particular favorite of his son. Coupled with the glossy finish and blue metallic writing, the futuristic style meshes well with the next generation of baseball player.
