Detroit Tigers 60-Man Roster Prospect Analysis

TOP PROSPECTS
The Tigers have all but one of their Top 10 prospects available in their 60-man player pool. The lone exception is OF Daniel Cabrera, the team’s second-rounder from the 2020 draft. He ranked No. 8 among the team’s midseason Top 30. Two of their top arms—RHPs Matt Manning and Alex Faedo—have but shut down with arm injuries. The rest of the player pool features an assortment of prospects, including OFs Derek Hill, SS Sergio Alcantara, RHP Bryan Garcia and RHP Beau Burrows, among others.
ADDITION AND SUBTRACTIONS
The Tigers briefly added former first-round RHP Carson Fulmer before losing him on waivers to the Pirates. Detroit also released infielder Jordy Mercer, who has since signed with the Yankees.
