Stoeckinger had Tommy John surgery in March of 2016 and returned to action midway through his sophomore season. His results were mixed this season, with his flashes of dominance counteracted by a few poor outings. From a pro perspective, however, Stoeckinger is an athletic, 6-foot-4 lefthander. His velocity crept up as the season progressed and his arm recovered to midseason form. He shows flashes with breaking stuff and has further developed his for feel spinning the ball this year. Stoeckinger is committed to Kentucky, but could be in play on day two of the draft.
