A 30th-round pick of the Twins out of high school, Eastman pitched three years in Fullerton's rotation and followed Thomas Eshelman and Connor Seabold in the line of Titans control-oriented aces. A 6-foot-3, 200-pound righthander, Eastman pitches with a fringe-average fastball but excels with his secondaries and above-average control. Eastman sits 88-91 mph and touches 93 with his fastball, which is mostly just a setup for his offspeed pitches. His curveball is an above-average to plus pitch with a spin rate well above the major league average at 2,800 to 3,000 revolutions per minute. His changeup is his best pitch, a plus offering with cut and fade. Eastman throws all his pitches for strikes and pitches with a competitive edge. That edge spills off the field sometimes, resulting in makeup concerns for some evaluators. Eastman's three-pitch mix and pedigree has him projected to go in the second or third round, like Eshelman and Seabold before him.
