  Sternagel entered the season as one of the Sunshine State's top-ranked prospects after a strong summer on the showcase circuit. The 6-foot-1, 200-pounder signed with Florida and could sneak through the draft despite his line-drive bat because of his college commitment and questions about his athleticism and defensive future. A high school shortstop, he was already a below-average runner and was bothered by a back injury this spring. He'll almost certainly have to move to a corner spot. He has fringy arm strength as well, so he's a bat-first, righthanded-hitting prep prospect. That's a tough profile.
