Barlow pulled double duty in his sophomore year at Salt Lake CC, serving as one of the Bruins catchers as well as being one of the team's best pitchers both in a starting role and a closing role. It'll be his strong right arm that will get Barlow drafted, with a fastball up to 93 mph. He held opposing hitters to a .148 average while striking out more than a batter an inning, but the 30 walks in 46.2 innings shows that he's still a work-in-progress on the mound. With limited experience as a pitcher, Barlow will need to spend time in the lower levels of the minor leagues.
