The son of MLB player/minor league manager Jay Bell, Brock Bell was a two-way player before he blew out his elbow. He came back for State College of Florida JC healthy and throwing harder than he had before with a more filled-out physique. He's now 6-foot-4, 215 pounds and can touch 97 mph with a power 12-to-6 curveball that projects as a potentially plus pitch. His changeup also flashes average at times. Bell's lack of time on the mound is apparent at times as he sometimes catches too much of the strike zone, but he struck out 23 and walked only three in 13 innings.
