Scroggins arrived at Arkansas as an infielder with a good arm. As a sophomore he moved to the mound, but ended up missing most of the 2017 and 2018 seasons recovering from Tommy John surgery, The 6-foot, 195-pound redshirt junior works from a three-quarters arm slot and tops out at 94 mph with some sinking action on his fastball. The fastball sets up a power (85-87) mph slider. Scroggins was 2-0, 4.19 for the Razorbacks this year with 53 strikeouts and 25 walks in 43 innings.
