Track Record: The Blue Jays acquired Pinto in the trade that sent Randal Grichuk to the Rockies on the eve of the 2022 season. Pinto was assigned to Low-A Dunedin where he hit .242/.375/.363 over 47 games before going down with a left hamstring strain that cost him the final three months of 2022. At just 20 years old for the entire 2023 campaign, Pinto should return to Dunedin to begin his season.
